On December 17, the opening ceremony of the Nutcracker Christmas exhibition took place in Pavilion 71 on the territory of VDNKh. After a full-fledged trip into the world of fairy tales, conducted by professional teachers who could interest the playful “princes” and “princesses”, whose attention was more focused on the stand with toy sabers, drums and a rocking horse, the main organizers of the holiday, the general director ” International Ballet Center “Elena Kaburneeva and People’s Artist of the Russian Federation – Sergei Filin.

Then the action itself began – the performance of the Bolshoi Theater artists in the mini-play “The Nutcracker”. Marie’s Dream, the battle of the Nutcracker Prince with the Mouse King, dances of animated dolls in costumes of different nations, adagio and an enchantingly colorful ending against the background of an elegant fluffy tree – everything is preserved in this dance version. After the performance, the artists themselves presented sweet gifts to the first little guests, and their parents took pictures of their children with a glass of New Year’s drink in their hands.
