An official ceremony for Phoenix award took place on the 16th of November 2017 in Saint-Petersburg during International Culture Forum event. Russian Ministry of Culture and Agency for Use and Management of Cultural Heritage Sites in Russia distribute an honorary award to investors for preserving cultural heritage of Russia. The award is titled “Phoenix” and is distributed once every two years. International Ballet Centre received a winning nomination as the best completed project in use and adaptation of cultural heritage.

We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts all architects and renovators who helped us on this long and difficult journey. The staff of the Centre worked very hard to give the completely renovated pavilion 62 to children. But there is more to this gift – a realization and growing awareness our national culture’s greatness.

Today both children and adults study in our Centre. We host master classes and meetings with star guests. This success would be impossible without Ministry of Culture’s attention and assistance, and genuine sympathies on the part of VDNH’s administration and the Government of Moscow.

Once again we thank you for the Phoenix – a symbol of eternal renewal!
