Babies with this diagnosis die in agony and do not live to see their 1st and 2nd birthday … Until recently, the disease was considered fatal, but today one injection of Zolgensma can completely cure it. The only problem is its extreme cost. This is the most expensive drug in the world worth over 2 million USD.
