We have visited the Bolshoi Ballet more than once and every time we open at the excursions the legendary theater from a new side, we learn a lot of priceless facts and details of its history!
The excursion on the last Wednesday was dedicated to history and architecture of Bolshoi Theater. We visited Beethoven Hall, we were at the historic stage and could see all the details of the audience space splendor.
The details of the luxurious decoration of the theater are admiring – the drawings on the walls and plafonds, stucco molding and amazing lighting. Each of them plays a huge role in creation of unique atmosphere – e.g., the built-in mirrors create in the hall a sense of additional light and space.
For every girl which opens for herself the ballet universe visiting of Bolshoi Ballet means a window to the history of ballet art and a precious possibility to see the legendary theater inside. After all, ballets by Yuri Grigorovich and Marius Petipa were staged on its stage, Maya Plisetskaya and Galina Ulanova, Maris Liepa and Vladimir Vasiliev and many others danced there!
