Congratulations!
The Head of the Ballet Center, Elena Olegovna Korotkova, was awarded the special Diploma and the appreciation letter from the International competition-concert of classical and modern dance performers “Anna Pavlova”, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian ballerina. The strongest participants from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Minsk, Ekaterinburg, the students of Vaganova Academy, Novosibirsk and Baku Choreographic Schools, having passed a qualification, came to Saint Petersburg to participate in the anniversary concert. The competition performances were presented on the stage of the Summer Palace in Petergof, in the unbelievably luxurious halls creating a particular atmosphere. The awarding took place at the museum – apartment of Anna Pavlova, in her beloved house in Italianskaya Street. Our student, Anastasia Zotova, was awarded with the Diploma of the I degree and the Special Diploma “For conservation of heritage of classical dance”. The competition judges included:
Uralsky Konstantin Semenovich – the Honoured Artist of Russia, the winner of the RF Government Prize, ballet-master, head of the ballet companies.
Cherkashina Tatiana Vasilievna – the head teacher of the Chair of classical and duet and classical dance of Vaganova Ballet Academy, the ballet-dancer at the State Opera and Ballet Theater of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory.
Nikiforov Anatoly Sergeevich – director of Saint Petersburg State Theater of Children’ Ballet, graduate of Vaganova Ballet Academy.
Renata Shakirova – the first soloist of Mariinsky Theatre, graduate of Vaganova Ballet Academy.
