Jazz is an energetic and expressive dance. Classes can be started at any age. In a jazz class, work begins with a warm-up, followed by exercises that develop a sense of rhythm. The lesson is built from simple to complex. Part of the time is devoted to practicing “isolated movements”, that is, movements performed by individual parts of the body. The lesson ends with the performance of the learned dance combination or improvisation. Regular “Jazz Dance” classes allow you: – to make your joints strong, mobile and flexible; – improve coordination and memory; – loads of different intensity contribute to the development of endurance and speed of reaction; – “Jazz Dance” liberates, helps to harmoniously, plastically and beautifully express your feelings and emotions.
