Creative evening of Svetlana Zakharova
It was impossible to miss the creative evening of Svetlana Zakharova, who tells in some performances about the facets of Great Love. On the Historic Stage of the Bolshoi Theater, the Amore program included three one-act ballets: Francesca da Rimini staged by Yuri Posokhov, Until It Rained, staged and performed by Patrick de Bana, and a fantasy humoresque by Irish choreographer Marguerite Donlon Strokes through tails.
We would like to note the ballet Francesca da Rimini about the tragic love story immortalized in Dante’s Divine Comedy is truly divine. The fragility and beauty of Svetlana Zakharova’s lines, the masculinity and acting talent of Mikhail Lobukhin, the romantic image of Paolo, who fell in love with the forbidden Francesca, created by Denis Rodkin, ladies in magical red, personifying the conflicting passions of lovers and silent witnesses of the crime – shadows are woven with the highest skill!
